English

The production of a result from the assembly of causes is a natural conventional law. Therefore, both the weapon which causes the harm and my own body which is the object that is harmed are equally the causes of suffering. The enemy gave rise to the weapon, and I gave rise to my body; as a result injury occurred and suffering was experienced. Where should I direct my anger, toward myself or the enemy? As both are equally at fault, it is not suitable to be angry with only one.
