English

If we must go through various meaningless unpleasant sensations such the bites of bees and snakes, weariness due to hunger and thirst, and irritating itches, then, do not be weak and impatient for the purpose of accomplishing the great goal of enlightenment. Do not allow patience to weaken when experiencing the minor sufferings of weariness and tiredness due to heat, cold, rain, and wind, or the suffering of being ill, bound, struck, or cut, because if one does so, patience will weaken and the harm and suffering will grow stronger and increase.
