| English | There are many terrifying enemies in this life such as tigers, lions, elephants, bears, snakes, thieves, and others; terrifying enemies in the next life such as the guardians of hell, and the lord of death; and terrifying enemies of both this and the next life such as spirits who cause curses, sky goers, rakshas, and yakshas. All of these causers of harm are bound by merely tying one’s own mind with the rope of mindfulness, and all of these cruel beings will not be able to cause harm.
