English

Imagine that the entire land is covered by a great ocean, on the surface of which is a yoke with a tiny hole that is blown back and forth by the wind. Imagine that within the ocean is a blind turtle that rises to the surface once every hundred years. It is hypothetically possible that the turtle’s neck will insert itself into the hole of the yoke. Yet because the ocean is vast, and there is only one hole in a single yoke that moves about in the wind, and there is only a single turtle, the chance of the turtle's neck entering the yoke is extremely small. Likewise, among the categories of other beings, the likelihood of finding a human birth is very small.
