From another point of view, the first four perfections cause one to be undistracted. The next perfection accomplishes non-distractibility itself. Based on this, the last perfection understands the nature of all phenomena exactly and accomplishes the base of the Buddha’s good qualities, such as spiritual power and the rest. Thus all of the Buddha’s Dharma is accomplished, and the number of perfections is ascertained as six.
