English	Than words of the all-knowing doctor, Which uproot our every ill, The thought to turn on him deaf ears Is abject and contemptible stupidity. The best of physicians, he who has power to heal such ills, is the Buddha, the omniscient Lord. By means of his instructions, he uproots all the torments of body and mind. If therefore we neglect to follow the holy teaching set forth by him, and if we have false ideas about it, we are ignorant idiots on our own account and foolish in the eyes of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas—as well as the protecting deities who will turn from us in contempt. The great master Nagarjuna has commented:

Bodhisattva - A person who seeks enlightenment for the sake of others. In Mahāyāna Buddhism, a bodhisattva is a compassionate being who is training on the path to buddhahood and aspires to eliminate the suffering of all beings and take all sentient beings to the state of enlightenment.
