English	However great may be their peril, People will by reflex guard their eyes. And likewise I, whatever dangers come, Must not fall down beneath defilement’s power. However difficult may be the circumstances in which they find themselves, even when their lives are threatened, people will instinctively protect their eyes, their most cherished possession. In the same way, and regardless of the dangers, we must protect ourselves from falling into the power of the afflictions of desire and anger.

Bodhisattva - A person who seeks enlightenment for the sake of others.
