This is only a list of the masters through whom the transmission of the Bodhicaryāvatāra came to Tsechokling Yeshe Gyaltsen (Tshe mchog gling ye shes rgyal mtshan)—that is, Kyishö Zhapdrung Rinpoche (Skyid shod zhabs drung rin po che); Drupai Wangchuk Chö Gyatso (Grub pa'i dbang phyug chos rgya mtsho); Sherap Paljor (Shes rab dpal 'byor); Lama Lobzang Paljor (Bla ma blo bzang dpal 'byor) (the author's teacher).
