Commentary on the Saddharmapuṇḍarīkasūtra (Lotus Sūtra), attributed by its colophon to Ācārya Pṛthivībandhu (Tib. Sa'i rtsa lag) of Siṃhala (Sri Lanka). It is one of only three sūtra commentaries—out of eight listed as translated from Chinese in the Denkarma catalogue—that survive in the Tengyur (the others being commentaries on the Saṃdhinirmocanasūtra and the Laṅkāvatārasūtra). Some scholars (e.g., Ernst Steinkellner) have argued that the text may actually be of Chinese rather than Sinhalese origin, despite its colophon's attribution.
