Under the permit of the State Publishing Administration, China Tibetology Publishing House (CTPH) was founded in 1986. During the past twenty years, CTPH has established its worldwide reputation by publishing books on Tibetan studies. Up to now, the CTPH has published 455 different publications, in which 211 are in Tibetan, 244 in Chinese and English.
Collating and publishing Tibetan traditional text Kanjiur & Tanjur is a huge and meaningful project of the CTPH, and has been attracting great attention from home and oversea community. Totally 242 volumes have been collated and more than 130 volumes have been published.
