Victoria Huckenpahler

Victoria Huckenpahler is a notable Buddhist translator and author who has made significant contributions to the field of Tibetan Buddhism. She is best known for her work onThe Great Kagyu Masters: The Golden Lineage Treasury, published in 1990 and republished in 2006. This important volume tells the extraordinary tales of the greatest teachers of the Kagyu lineage, one of the most widely followed schools of Tibetan Buddhism in the United States.

Kagyu - The Kagyu school traces its origin to the eleventh-century translator Marpa, who studied in India with Nāropa.
