HarperSanFrancisco
HarperSanFrancisco was established in 1977, when thirteen employees of Harper & Row moved from New York to San Francisco, thereby taking Harper Religion and making it HarperSanFrancicso. Since that time, HarperSanFrancisco authors have ranked among the world’s leading voices on faith, wisdom, learning, change, hope, and healing, and have been responsible for beginning new publishing trends and pushing the boundaries of form, language, and spirit. The books have offered new pathways, broken down barriers, and have served as valued sources of inspiration and information for millions of readers, be they seekers, students, scholars, or general readers.
In 2007, HarperSanFrancisco announced that it is changing its name to HarperOne. (Adapted from Source April 18, 2025)
