The Buddhist Text Society of India published a quarterly journal from 1893 to 1894 titled Journal and Text of the Buddhist Text Society of India. The journal was edited by Sarat Chandra Das and printed at the Baptist Mission Press in Calcutta.

The Journal and Text of the Buddhist Text Society of India continued the numbering of the Journal of the Buddhist Text Society of India (1893). It was followed by several other journals, including:

  • Journal of the Buddhist Text Society of India (1895-1896)
  • Journal of the Buddhist Text and Anthropological Society (1897-1901)
  • Journal of the Buddhist Text and Research Society (1904-1905)
  • Research and Review (1908-1909)
