Padmakara
Padmakara was founded in 1987, in Dordogne, France. Tsetrul Pema Wangyal Rinpoche and Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche provide spiritual direction.
Padmakara is Songtsen 's business unit dedicated to the preservation, translation, and publication of Tibetan texts. Its primary objective is to preserve the essential texts of classical and contemporary Tibetan literature, primarily works on Buddhist philosophy and practice, and to make them known to Western audiences.
The Padmakara Translation Committee brings together specialized translators and proofreaders of various nationalities who strive to convey in their mother tongue all the depth and flavor of the major texts from the four great schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
