Description

Bhante Dhammapala discourse on the bodhisatta as the being in search of his own Enlightenment and describe how Prince Siddhartha Gautama met with trials and tribulations along his quest. As depicted in the Early Pali texts, the Buddha' was initially reluctant to teach his sublime Dhamma. His compassion arose after seeing there were indeed beings with little dust in their eyes who could understand this sublime Dhamma. This defining quality of Compassion in Him and his Arahant disciples is highlighted in many places in the suttas.

Bhante Dhammapala is the Founder and Abbot of Brahmavihara Monastery & Retreat Centre Melaka, Bodhivana Monastery of Sungai Pelek and The Centre of Mindfulness in Hong Kong. He travels frequently to conduct meditation retreats, Dhamma talks as well as Dhamma camps for youths and teenagers.
