Casa Tibet México is a non-sectarian cultural and educational institution founded in July 1989 under the auspices of His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama. It serves as the first official representation of the Tibetan people in Latin America and aims to make Tibetan culture, art, philosophy, and human development methods accessible to everyone, regardless of creed, race, or sexual orientation.

The mission of Casa Tibet México is to transmit the ancient wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism to promote personal development and genuine well-being. This includes offering educational programs, seminars, and meditation sessions designed to enhance mental focus and reduce negative emotions such as anger and jealousy. The institution also organizes introductory courses on Tibetan Buddhism twice a year, which serve as a gateway for further studies in various Tibetan Buddhist traditions, including Nyingma, Kagyu, Sakya, and Gelug.
