Bodhisvara
Bodhisvara is an organization based in Kathmandu dedicated to preserving and sharing Buddhist Sanskrit texts through high-quality audio recordings. The project was initiated in 2011 by Christian Bernert, who began by recording recitations of Śāntideva’s Bodhicaryāvatāra with Prof. Kashinath from Nepal Sanskrit University, Kathmandu. Their aim is to make the rich oral tradition of Sanskrit Buddhist literature accessible to a global audience, especially since few such recordings exist. The materials are offered freely as a resource for academics, practitioners, and anyone interested in Buddhist studies.
